Student Policies

1. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • All course purchases are final; no refunds will be issued.
  • If a student cannot attend, they may receive store credit to apply toward a future course.
  • Store credit is non-transferable and can only be used by the original student.

2. Internet & Technical Requirements

  • Students must have a stable internet connection to participate in live Zoom classes.
  • The Cos Academy is not responsible for students who are unable to access the class due to poor internet, device issues, or failure to meet technical requirements.

3. Supply Kits & Course Materials

  • Supply kits are optional but highly recommended to get the most out of each course.
  • A list of required and recommended materials will be provided upon enrollment.

4. Class Access & Recording Policy

  • Students are not allowed to record class sessions. Zoom recording permissions are restricted to instructors only.
  • The Cos Academy may record sessions for internal review or future learning materials.

5. Behavior & Classroom Etiquette

  • The Cos Academy fosters a positive, respectful learning environment.
  • Disruptive behavior (e.g., trolling, offensive remarks, or other unprofessional acts) may result in removal from the course without refund.

6. Instructor Availability & Support

  • Instructors will be available during class for live instruction and Q&A.
  • Coaching options to schedule follow-up meetings with instructors coming soon.

7. Attendance & Late Policy

  • Being on time and ready to learn is important and respectful to the class and instructor.
  • If a student is 15 minutes or more late, they will not be allowed to join the class and will forfeit their enrollment.
  • No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, but store credit may be issued in special circumstances at the discretion of The Cos Academy.

8. Injury & Accident Disclaimer

  • Some courses may involve crafting, tool use, or makeup application, which can carry risks.
  • Students are responsible for using safe practices while participating in hands-on activities.
  • The Cos Academy and its instructors are not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during or after the course.
